An American tourist in London decides to skip his tour group and explore the city on his own. He wanders around, seeing the sights, occasionally stopping at a quaint pub to soak up the local culture, chat with the locals, and have a pint of bitter.
After a while, he finds himself in a very nice neighbourhood with big, stately residences. No pubs, no stores, no restaurants, and worst of all no public restrooms.
However, he really has to go, after all those Guinness%26#039;s. He finds a narrow side street, with high walls surrounding the adjacent buildings and decides to use the wall to solve his problem.
As he is unzipping, he is tapped on the shoulder by a London bobby, who says, %26quot;Sir, you simply cannot do that here, you know.%26quot;
%26quot;I%26#039;m very sorry, officer,%26quot; replies the American, %26quot;but I really have to go, and I just can%26#039;t find a public restroom.%26quot;
%26quot;Ah, yes,%26quot; said the bobby, %26quot;just follow me%26quot;. He leads the American to a back delivery alley to a gate, which he opens.
%26quot;In there,%26quot; points the bobby, %26quot;whiz away sir, anywhere you like.%26quot;
The fellow enters and finds himself in the most beautiful garden he has ever seen. Manicured grass lawns, statuary, fountains, sculptured hedges, and huge beds of gorgeous flowers, all in perfect bloom.
Since he has the policeman%26#039;s blessing, he relieves himself and feels much more comfortable. As he goes back through the gate, he says to the bobby %26quot;That was really decent of you. Is that what you call English hospitality?%26quot;
%26quot;No sir...%26quot;, replied the bobby, %26quot;that is what we call the French Embassy.%26quot;
English hospitality?

Is this just a coincidence?OR is this lady psychic?
My mother has been going to a psychic for like 10 years,I have always been slightly skeptical. But,this is what the lady has told my mom.
She predicted that there would be a loss on my mothers side of the fam involving 3 letters,a train, and yellow flowers2 weeks after this reading,My mom%26#039;s brother was hit my an amtrak train while driving for the trash company CTR,his body was lying amongst yellow flowers.
Coincidence???
I was due to have my baby on November 1st,of this year,My mom asked the lady what she saw for my labor and delivery, the lady told her that she did not see me having a child at all in the year 2007.And that I would deliver a healthy baby in the spring of 2008. On June 14th,2007 I had a sudden miscarriage at 20 weeks. Now,I am expecting a baby in April of 08!!
What do you think of all this?
Is she the real deal?
Or is just mere coincidence?
Is this just a coincidence?OR is this lady psychic?
Hello
Congratulations on baby x
Your mum has obviously got a good psychic, good for her.
Have some faith, no harm will come to you from believing?, after all she has given plenty of proof from what you have mentioned.
She sounds like the real deal.
Pam
Reply:Coincidence. This lady is a fake. No such thing as going into the future and pradicting it is true. If it was then those people whould benefit themselves other then making other people pay them, or have to high of a concense to be able to just sit there and not take action.
Reply:i think she could be based on the first reading, but the second one was a coincidence. She knew you were pregnant and could safely assume you wanted a kid, but as far as she knew the baby wasn%26#039;t going too be born the next year sounds like coincidence that your baby died, and you Had another.
Reply:thats a pretty big coincidence..
i often wonder if they get your name then change your life
(obviously nto the pregnancy haha)
but i mean.. paid someone even like 50 or 100 dollars to kill him so she can be right so she gets lots more money from ur mom and to convert you and all your friends and relatives.
im obviously paranoid, but im also a logical reasoner and skepticist.
can you blame me?
XD
Reply:If what you are saying is true then I would say yes there is some psychic ability to it, but the better question is how often is she wrong vs the amount of time she is right.
Also, if your mother has been seeing the psychic for 10 years then im guessing that more on one occasion the psychic has been right, so what did your mother do to try and avoid this death in her family?
Reply:What would be the point of predicting the future if you can%26#039;t change it anyway? The guy was still hit by a train.

did anyone have some intresting ideas to send gifts on new year.
something to send to chennai.
what do you think about midnight delivery in www.chennaistore.com
Christmas and New Year gifts india?
Well for New Year, you could just give a bottle of wine or noise makers. Also 2008 sunglasses might work. Your Christmas cake is fine. I would also get pastries or something like that for Christmas. By the way, it%26#039;s Idea not India. That%26#039;s the country.

A day at the IT support in a company..........................
1. When a tech says he%26#039;s coming right over, log out and go for coffee. It%26#039;s no problem for us to remember 2700 network passwords.
2. When you call us to have your computer moved, be sure to leave it buried under half a ton of postcards, baby pictures, stuffed animals, dried flowers, bowling trophies and Popsicle art. We don%26#039;t have a life, and we find it deeply moving to catch a fleeting glimpse of yours.
3. When tech support sends you an e-mail with high importance, delete it at once. We%26#039;re probably just testing out the public groups.
4. When a tech is eating lunch at his desk, walk right in and spill your guts out and expect him to respond immediately. We exist only to serve and are always ready to think about fixing computers.
5. When Pat is at the water cooler or outside having a smoke, ask her a mail question. The only reason why she drinks water or smokes at all is to ferret out all those users who don%26#039;t have email or a telephone line.
6. Send urgent email ALL IN UPPERCASE. The mail server picks it up and flags it as a rush delivery.
7. When you call a tech%26#039;s direct line, press 5 to skip the bilingual greeting that says he%26#039;s out of town for a week, record your message, and wait exactly 24 hours before you send an email straight to the director because no one ever returned your call. You%26#039;re entitled to common courtesy.
8. When the photocopier doesn%26#039;t work, call computer support. There%26#039;s electronics in it, right?
9. When you%26#039;re getting a NO DIAL TONE message at home, call computer support. We can even fix telephone problems from here.
10. When something%26#039;s wrong with your home PC, dump it on a tech%26#039;s chair with no name, no phone number, and no description of the problem. We love a good mystery.
11. When you have a tech on the phone walking you through changing a setting read the paper. We don%26#039;t actually mean for you to DO anything we just love to hear ourselves talk.
12. When we offer training on an upcoming software upgrade, don%26#039;t bother. We%26#039;ll be there to hold your hand after it is done.
13. When the printer won%26#039;t print, re-send the job at least 20 times. Print jobs frequently just disappear into the cosmos for no reason.
14. When the printer still won%26#039;t print after 20 tries, send the job to all 68 printers in the office. One of them is bound to work.
15. Don%26#039;t use online help. Online help is for wimps.
16. If you%26#039;re taking night classes in computer science, feel free to go around and update the network drivers for you and all you co-workers. We%26#039;re grateful for the overtime when we have to stay until 2:30am fixing them.
17. When you have a tech fixing your computer at a quarter past one, eat your lunch in his face. We function better when slightly dizzy.
18. Don%26#039;t ever thank us. We love this AND we get paid for it!
19. When a tech asks you whether you%26#039;ve installed any new software on this computer, lie. It%26#039;s nobody%26#039;s business what you%26#039;ve got on your computer.
20. If the mouse cable keeps knocking down the framed picture of your dog, lift the computer and stuff the cable under it. Mouse cables were designed to have 45 lbs. of computer sitting on top of them.
21. If the space bar on your keyboard doesn%26#039;t work, blame it on the mail upgrade. Keyboards work much better with half a pound of muffin crumbs, nail clippings, and big sticky drops of Coke under the keys.
22. When you get the message saying %26quot;Are you sure?%26quot;, click on that Yes button as fast as you can. Hell, if you weren%26#039;t sure, you wouldn%26#039;t Be doing it, would you?
23. Feel perfectly free to say things like %26quot;I don%26#039;t know nothing about that computer crap%26quot;. It never bothers us to hear our area of professional expertise referred to as crap.
24. When you need to change the toner cartridge, call tech support. Changing a toner cartridge is an extremely complex task, and Hewlett-Packard recommends that it be performed only by a professional engineer with a Master%26#039;s degree in nuclear physics.
25. When something%26#039;s the matter with your computer, ask your secretary to call the help desk. We enjoy the challenge of having to deal with a third party who doesn%26#039;t know jack **** about the problem.
26. When you receive a 30-meg movie file, send it to everyone as a high-priority mail attachment. We%26#039;ve got plenty of disk space and processor capacity on that mail server.
27. Don%26#039;t even think of breaking large print jobs down into smaller chunks. God forbid somebody else might get a chance to squeeze into the queue.
28. When you bump into a tech in the grocery store on a Saturday, ask a computer question. We work 24/7, even while at the grocery store on
weekends.
29. If your son is a student in computer science, have him come in on the weekends and do his projects on your office computer. We%26#039;ll be there for you when his illegal copy of Visual Basic 6.0 makes your Access database flip out.
30. When you bring us your own no-brand home PC to repair for free at the office, tell us how urgently we need to fix it so your son can get back to playing DOOM. We%26#039;ll get right on it because we have so much free time at the office. Everybody knows all we do is surf the Internet all day anyway.
A day at the IT support in a company..........................
I really like this. A lot of effort went into it. People fail to think of fellow human beings, sometimes.
Thanks for the reminder about appreciating what others do.
Have a great evening.

1) When calling to get your phone line fixed, and you are asked for your area code and phone number, it does no good to give your zip code..... were not going to mail you a new phone line.
2) Please, when you call because your installing a new phone line in your house, and it isn%26#039;t working yet, it%26#039;s never worked, call phone repair. I mean, just because it wasn%26#039;t installed correctly doesn%26#039;t mean that it can%26#039;t be repaired, right?
3) Please, when you need the phone number for any place, person or business, call 611 and ask us. I mean, what%26#039;s the difference between 411 and 611 anyway?
4) When your phone doesn%26#039;t work, and you remove one phone of two from your home, and that one phone now works.... don%26#039;t call repair. You see, you removed the faulty phone set and the line worked.... its your phone equipment at fault.
5) If you never been a Phone Technician or an Electrician, please, don%26#039;t insist that you know what the problem is.
6) If your cell phone doesn%26#039;t work, please don%26#039;t pick up your home telephone and dial 611. Doing that will get you to your home telephone carriers repair department..... which is not the same as your Cell phone carrier, regardless of the name.
7) If you call Repair, please try and refrain from being on the toilet, eating, or remaining in a room with screaming children. Our headsets do pick up a lot of background noise..... and we all just laugh at you when we get off the phone.
I%26#039;m sure their%26#039;s more, but my brain died. Enjoy these....

Online flowershop?
Anyone know of an online flowershop from where I can have flowers sent to my girl in Canada.
As with most people looking for value for their money, I%26#039;d like the cheapest price, best roses, free delivery
Any thoughts?
Online flowershop?
you could call a local florist in her city and work it out....most places accept credit cards- what city is she in??
Reply:Try http://www.1800flowers.com or http://www.proflowers.com (actually, in Canada, I think it%26#039;s http://www.flowerfarm.com ).

What is the wierdest dream that you ever had? What does this crazy dream mean?
Please don%26#039;t be mean when you answer this. I dreamed that my husband and myself were going to Canada....I won%26#039;t use the two other peoples names, but they know who they are. For benefit, I will say %26quot;P%26quot; and %26quot;J%26quot;. Anyway, my cellphone rang and it was %26quot;P%26quot;. %26quot;P%26quot; asked me was I going to meet her at the shed. I said yes but my husband acting all grumpy. She said that %26quot;J%26quot;was too. Anyway the conversation went on, and her husband %26quot;J%26quot; was pregnant and my husband was too. Anyway, to make a long story short. We were embarassed that our husbands were pregnant and we were taking them to the shed to actually castrate them to help them with delivery. The thing is, we were going to use fishing line and alcohol to perform the procedure.
I know this sounds crazy, but honestly it is 100% true. Is there anyone that can tell me what this dream means? I normally do not have dreams like this. I dream about flowers and meadows. This was out of the norm. Your thoughts? Scared me a bit.

ha comma ha comma ha, gee this reminds of a dream i had recently, i had a couple of m%26amp;ms and one was making all this racket about %26quot;feelings%26quot; and %26quot;child birth%26quot;, after i knew what must be done so i grabbed a small dish and placed one of the m%26amp;ms (the one without the nut if you must know) on it, so i took the small dish and put it in the yard for one of the passing blue jays and after a sharp HIGH pitched squeak all was silent once again. the funny thing is is that i normally have dreams about dinosaure and ninjas and such, why i%26#039;d dream about talking candy i%26#039;ll never know
Reply:Last night I dreamed that I was eating a giant marshmallow. When I woke up my pillow was gone.
Reply:I don%26#039;t think it sounds crazy at all. And you wouldn%26#039;t think so, either, if you could dig into my brain and see the nutty dreams that I%26#039;ve had. LOL
I%26#039;d love to tell you what your dream means. Sometimes (well, actually, often times) I feel that I can interpret dreams (not all, just some, and rarely my own), but I question myself so much (due to the taboo of such things, I guess) that it clouds my thoughts and causes me to question myself. Know what I mean?
Now *I* probably seem crazy. LOL! Ignore everything I%26#039;ve said if you want to. But just know one thing.... Know that your dream is NOT crazy. Nothing is wrong, and you have no reason to be afraid.

What is the most tragic suicide that you've personally dealt with?
Sorry if this topic upsets anyone, but I%26#039;m trying to work through my own pain of losing someone close to me, and talking about this helps. A few months ago the girl who was to be the maid of honor at our wedding killed herself. Sarah believed that she screwed up a college entrance exam that she thought would be her last hope for a career (after being out of work and depressed for over a year). She laid out on the railroad tracks after getting drunk on liquor, and apparently was motionless (passed out) when the train operator hit the brakes too late. It totally devastated her family, my Fiancee%26#039;, everyone. Her entire family is on medication now (including two sisters and a brother), no one can work, and they visit the grave site every day with fresh flowers hoping a miracle will happen. Now the worst part. She had actually been accepted by the college, and the couriers had screwed up the delivery of the acceptance notice. Sooooooo tragic. The parents have the notice framed and up on the wall at home as a source of pride. Their pastor has mentioned that they need to get on with their lives, but they can%26#039;t. They have turned her bedroom into a sort of shrine.
I really don%26#039;t know what to think about this as it is all like some kind of terrible nightmare, I don%26#039;t think I%26#039;ve really heard of any other worse than this. We feel like we are the only ones who have to go through this. Thanks for listenening.
What is the most tragic suicide that you%26#039;ve personally dealt with?
Last February my boyfriends mother killed herself, his brother found her in the basement after drinking an extensive amount of anti-freeze. They did an autopsy and found it in her stomach.. so tragic.
My boyfriend doesn%26#039;t talk about his mother, and it worries me too. He seems to be numb from any pain that he might have felt after she killed herself. I%26#039;m currently trying to encourage him to go to therapy.
My father died in 2000 and it was a very tragic loss for me, I was very close to my dad, he didn%26#039;t kill himself however, but the loss of a loved one is very difficult to deal with no matter how they died.
My suggestion would be to find a support group in a local church or talking with a grievence councelor of some kind. Support groups can help a great deal because you won%26#039;t feel so alone, and you will find that many people have a lot in common.
I live in Michigan and there are support groups of suicide survivors located throughout the state, there might be one where you live as well.

Reply:You are not alone, that%26#039;s for sure. Suicide is a terrible thing, I tried to kill myself when I was a young girl and of course did not succeed. All I can tell you is at the time I wasn%26#039;t thinking of what would happen afterwords, where I would go when I died and I wasn%26#039;t thinking of what my friends and family would have to deal with afterwards... I was being selfish only thinking of my pain and my pain really wasn%26#039;t nothing that bad. Well that was a long time ago and since then I have had to deal with my husbands mother killing her self , a year later his father, I have had 2 friends kill themselves and a little over 2 years ago my mother%26#039;s husband killed himself. It has showed me how selfish this act is, because of what your family and friends have to go through and it is just awful. I have God in my life and it helps. I believe it is a sin to take a life God gave you and throw it away like it was nothing, but I also think God holds a special healing place for these lost souls. I can%26#039;t tell you it ever feels better, because that pain is always there, but it does seem to ease as time goes by. As for your friends family all you can do is be there to listen to them and help keep her spirit alive, but you have to go on with your life believe me your friend in heaven realizes what she has done now and she would not want you to dwell on this all your life. I am very sorry for your loss. Take care.
Reply:I can relate to your feelings and tragic loss as my son%26#039;s best friend killed himself just 5 months ago. He was only 15 yrs old and his mother found him hung in his closet. My son has Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome now and is seeing a counselor. What makes the situation worse is no one had no clue as to why he did this. I find myself wondering all the time %26quot;what could I have done to help him%26quot; but in reality he was obviously suffering from the inside over a deeper issue than anyone could see. It really messed my son up he is now on anti-depressants, can%26#039;t go to school, has nightmares, and is agoraphobic (can%26#039;t leave the house%26quot; so I know first hand the tragic and devastation of going through the suicide of someone close to your family.

What can you tell me about periwing.com or other sites like it?
I know there have been several questions posted on this subject, but I wanted to see if there are any more recent answers. I was looking for 2 wedding dresses that I LOVE, but are really pricey (one of them is $1400...out of my budget) and I found periwing.com makes it for a little over $100! Does anyone have any recent experience with them, preferably personal (not a friend of a friend...) experience?? If so, is it worth it? How is the fabric, is it obvious its a knock-off and cheap looking? How long did delivery, etc take? I know the whole %26quot;you get what you pay for%26quot;, but if its worth it then I%26#039;d love to put that money saved towards flowers or something for the wedding!!
What can you tell me about periwing.com or other sites like it?
I am having a similar experience- I also love a $1500 dress that%26#039;s listed at just $120 on periwing.com. I%26#039;ve heard mixed reviews, but I think I%26#039;m going to give it a chance just to see what I get. It%26#039;s a small loss if it turns out horrible, and I figure I can always take it to a consignment shop or ebay if I choose not to wear it. Another option is to google the designer and style of the dress you love and shop around for a great price. Bestbridalprices.com and jaysbridal.net are low. There are many others available online at wholesale prices as well. I contacted a small shop whose owner had a wholesale license and can find my exact dress for $800. In all, periwing is a gamble and- if you have the time for error and the extra $100 I would try it. Depending on what you want, it could work... Best of luck!
Reply:Why dont you chec out Davids bridal
Reply:If a dress normally costs $1400 and they are selling on it this website for $100, I defiently wouldn%26#039;t trust it. The best thing is to find a dress that fits your budget and try it on in person. Buying something as important as a wedding dress on the internet is not something I recommend. This is a special day and you should feel like a princess trying on those dresses. Shop around your city and other cities close by and I%26#039;m sure you will find something. How about checking out www.yellowpages.com for local listings in your area? Good luck and may God bless you on this special day of your life!!!

English Hospitality?
An American tourist in London decides to skip his tour group and explore the city on his own. He wanders around, seeing the sights, occasionally stopping at a quaint pub to soak up the local culture, chat with the locals, and have a pint of bitter.
After a while, he finds himself in a very nice neighbourhood with big, stately residences. No pubs, no stores, no restaurants, and worst of all no public restrooms.
However, he really has to go, after all those Guinness%26#039;s. He finds a narrow side street, with high walls surrounding the adjacent buildings and decides to use the wall to solve his problem.
As he is unzipping, he is tapped on the shoulder by a London bobby, who says, %26quot;Sir, you simply cannot do that here, you know.%26quot;
%26quot;I%26#039;m very sorry, officer,%26quot; replies the American, %26quot;but I really have to go, and I just can%26#039;t find a public restroom.%26quot;

%26quot;In there,%26quot; points the bobby, %26quot;whiz away sir, anywhere you like.%26quot;
The fellow enters and finds himself in the most beautiful garden he has ever seen. Manicured grass lawns, statuary, fountains, sculptured hedges, and huge beds of gorgeous flowers, all in perfect bloom.
Since he has the policeman%26#039;s blessing, he relieves himself and feels much more comfortable. As he goes back through the gate, he says to the bobby %26quot;That was really decent of you. Is that what you call English hospitality?%26quot;
%26quot;No sir...%26quot;, replied the bobby, %26quot;that is what we call the French Embassy.%26quot;

I need ladies opinions for valentines?
My friend is still in High School but she is kind of shy and I really don%26#039;t think she would want flowers delivered to her at school. Expecially since we arn%26#039;t dating and people would ask who are they from and what not.. If I don%26#039;t have them delivered to her school i%26#039;ll hand deliver them to her tonight after I get off work. I do like her as more than a friend though just the opportunity hasn%26#039;t arrived yet for me to make the move. What would be my best choice? Hand delivery or Surprise @ school?
I need ladies opinions for valentines?
I would say hand deliver. More personal. Plus like you said, if she gets them at school, its going to cause questions that she might not want to answer. Plus if you deliver them youself, maybe you could say how you feel and ask her out. Good luck matey!
Reply:try these cute vases and put seeds inside for tulips. then when the spring comes plant them. when they grow up cut them and put them in the vases. makes a really nice gift thats not too expensive.
plus it shows you plan on sticking it through for the long haul. very romantic. goodluck.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...
Reply:I think a hand delivery would be best, specially if she%26#039;s shy.
Reply:Surprises are more fun. Than still go see her after work and bring her one extra flower. It sounds sweet.
Reply:How old are you that you are thinking about suprising someone is high school? I would suprise her at home, if her parents permit.
Reply:That%26#039;s a tough call... usually women do like the attention of getting flowers at work/school, but if she%26#039;s shy it could embarass her. I think later is safest...
Ah, I%26#039;m not sure... good luck with whatever you decide.
Reply:School. Its a better surprise. She%26#039;ll be thrilled.
Reply:I would say surprise her at school. I bet it would make her day.
Reply:I say take them to her yourself. Use this chance to tell her how you really feel. Suck it up there is no better day then valentine%26#039;s day to tell someone how you really feel. If she is like most women she is prob. spending the day wishing that she had someone in her life that she cared for enough to be in a relationship with! Good Luck.

Eastenders - Arthur Fowlers antique clock?
There was an episode of Eastenders back in around 1995, 1996, and Arthur Fowler was in receipt of delivery of an antique clock. As the episode progressed, Arthur and Willy Roper (the guy that ultimately framed him regarding the embezzlement of funds for the %26#039;flowering Walford%26#039; campaign, or whatever it was called) speculated on who could have sent him the clock, and why. As far as I know, this was never resolved. Ever. I know it%26#039;s trivial, but it%26#039;s stuff like this that keeps me awake at night. Please advise.

What does this mean in woman language?
My girlfriend split up with me 1 month ago(the reason is still unclear, even to her i think) I sent her a gift certificate and flowers just before Christmas. She received them the day she was writing a University exam. She contacted me 1 week after the delivery and after catching up a bit, the first thing she said about the gift was that it was a distraction. Eventually she did say thank you. If she did the breaking up and i%26#039;ve been respecting her space by not contacting her, then why was it %26quot; a distraction%26quot;? What does that mean?
What does this mean in woman language?
You need to leave her alone, she is not ready for the relationship and maybe your gift made her think about it when she should have been thinking about her exam.
Reply:She sounds confused. Maybe she felt like you were sending her the gift without regard for her exam and she was offended (hence the %26quot;distraction%26quot;). But the fact that she contacted you indicates to me that she must have strong feelings for you. Even if she%26#039;s calling to insult you, she%26#039;s still calling you. She could have just ignored it and said nothing. I think she wants to talk to you but doesn%26#039;t want to commit to it. Let her come to you.
Reply:It means she had to stop what she was doing and think about you. Could be bad or good....
Reply:It means that u sound like a very nice guy..............in love with a not so nice girl. Move on she has made it very clear that she wants to move on.
Reply:welcome to the dark world of women my friend. what a woman says and what she means by sayng that, is a mystery to everyman who came in contact with women. if she called you one week later, then it means she has some feelings for you.

Reply:Most likely she%26#039;s confused and your gift made her %26#039;pause%26#039;. Keep gentle contact with her if you like and see what happens next.
Reply:A better set of questions for you.
Why try to figure out what she meant? Is she retarded or merely trying not to give you any answers? She is a big girl and she should be made to prove it by her actions. She should be able to communicate honestly and clearly. If she cant/more likely wont, then it is either by choice or she is stupid. In neither case should you take one moment to try to figure it out. She is the one who should explain it. You should also be glad that she has broken it off, for it would not improve in the future. Trust me on this.
Reply:She%26#039;s weird, that%26#039;s a mean thign to say to someone who took the time out of their day to do something nice for you. Get rid of her... if you don%26#039;t even know why you 2 broke up maybe she just wasn%26#039;t into it or like I said she%26#039;s just weird. I%26#039;d be super excited to receive random flowers! Even if they are distracting... plus they couldn%26#039;t of been all that distracting to her since it took her a whole week to call.
Reply:I%26#039;m a little confused by that as well and I%26#039;m a woman. It could mean one of two things:
1) It was a positive distraction as she%26#039;d been studying so hard and it gave her a much needed break or cheered her up
OR
2) It was a negative distraction and broke her concentration or messed with her flow or Chi while studying/ writing her exam.
Either way, I would move on if I were you.
Reply:It%26#039;s simple she had no REAL grounds to break up with you, and she still has feelings for you and the Gifts were a reminder that she still feelings for you Hence she calls them a %26quot;Distraction%26quot;.
Hint: GO FOR HER
Reply:maybe its a distraction because shes been thinking of you and your gift is making her think about you and its distracting her from other things :)...does that help?
Reply:Maybe she meant it made her think of you when she was trying to concentrate on exams. If she broke up with you and is not contacting you let her go she probably wants it to be over.
Reply:Just forget about her she is plain mean and rude dont call her and if she calls you tell her you are bussy and that you will call her back and dont you will see that eventually she will be looking for you she is just playing games
Reply:In woman language that means that she is unsure of her feelings towards you, that she has too many things going on and with all the thought you put into buying and sending her that, it threw her off and couldn%26#039;t think straight. That or it means she%26#039;s just crazy.

English Hospitality !!!!!!!!!!!?
An American tourist in London decides to skip his tour group and explore the city on his own. He wanders around, seeing the sights, and occasionally stopping at a quaint pub to soak up the local culture, chat with the lads, and have a pint of Guinness.
After awhile, he finds himself in a very high class neighborhood.....big, stately residences ... no pubs, no stores, no restaurants, and worst of all...NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS.
He really, really has to go, after all those Guinness%26#039;s. He finds a narrow side street, with high walls surrounding the adjacent buildings and decides to use the wall to solve his problem.
As he is unzipping, he is tapped on the shoulder by a London bobby, who says, %26quot;I say, sir, you simply cannot do that here, you know.%26quot;
%26quot;I%26#039;m very sorry, officer,%26quot; replies the American, %26quot;but I really, really HAVE TO GO, and I just can%26#039;t find a public restroom.%26quot;
%26quot;Ah, yes,%26quot; said the bobby...%26quot;Just follow me.%26quot; He leads him to a back %26quot;delivery alley,%26quot; then along a wall to a gate, which he opens. %26quot;In there,%26quot; points the bobby. %26quot;Whiz away sir, anywhere you want.%26quot;
The fellow enters and finds himself in the most beautiful garden he has ever seen. Manicured grass lawns, statuary, fountains, sculptured hedges, and huge beds of gorgeous flowers, all in perfect bloom.
Since he has the cop%26#039;s blessing, he unburdens himself and is greatly relieved.
As he goes back through the gate, he says to the bobby, %26quot;That was really decent of you ... is that what you call English Hospitality?%26quot;

Is there anything we can do to stop this madness? I think that before we start *another* war, we should look at the lack of diplomacy.

What can I have delivered to Mom's house in UK on her birthday?
Apart from flowers, I mean. Everyone knows about that option. Mum is in Cambridgeshire. I%26#039;m in a different country. I need to organize delivery for 26th Sept. A hamper - type thing would be good. Any ideas?
What can I have delivered to Mom%26#039;s house in UK on her birthday?
I would still go with the flowers. Nothing says, %26quot;Mom, you are special%26quot; than a beautiful exotic flower arrangement.
Reply:if you have a credit card then you can get anything delivered anywhere.

Reply:type in gifts, or a store in the uk and put your credit card in, or buy a gift and fedex it? Yikes, send her agift certificate?

I am 38 weeks pregnant ,and i want a pedicure. How can i do it w/o going to the spa?
My husband is handleing our finances and he will not give me the money to get my nails done. all i want is to have cute feet for the delivery of our first child.I don%26#039;t usually ask for something like this . actually the last time i got my nails done was my senior prom (5 years ago!) I clean his clothes ,cook for him ect... i mean he is a great guy surpises me with flowers randomly and buying wendy%26#039;s burgers at midnight . any ideas on how to convince him to pay for my pedicure or how i can do it myself?
I am 38 weeks pregnant ,and i want a pedicure. How can i do it w/o going to the spa?
I had a hard time justifying to my husband why I wanted pedicures every 3-4 months before I became pregnant, then I took him with me one day and got him one. He%26#039;s been hooked ever since. This will probably not work in your situation though.
I suggest just throwing a tantrum to get what you want if you have already tried talking to him. LOL Tell him not to buy you anymore flowers or hamburgers and you can use the money he would have used on that for a pedicure. He%26#039;s probably nervous about money and doesn%26#039;t see it as a necessary expense, but as pregnant women, we understand! You could paint your toenails, but nothing will compare to that spa pedicure!!!
Reply:if I wanted something and my husband was absolutely against it, I would go to my mom. she was the only person who I borrowed money from and I would pay her back when I had it. or maybe you could talk to him about taking your mom for mothers day. tell him that you want to do mothers day early because the baby will be here on mothers day and tell him that way you get to spend quality time with your mother. then you can get your pedicures together and knock out two birds with one stone.
Reply:If you can reach your own feet, it wouldn%26#039;t hurt to do your own pedicure. I do mine when I am strapped for cash and need them done.
They don%26#039;t cost that much, I don%26#039;t see why your husband wouldn%26#039;t pay for one. Silly, what a tight wad.
If you want to try to convince your husband to give you what you want, give your husband a good rubbing in his bare crotch area with your feet, once he feels how rough your feet are.... he%26#039;ll give ya the funds to get your feet done! hehe
Good luck!
Reply:Hope your husband also handles your spelling (handleing???).
But, seriously, how about a sister? Or, if your husband is such a great guy maybe he could give you a pedicure.
Believe me, though, during delivery NOBODY is going to be looking at your feet.
Reply:My husband is the same way. So if you ask him and he tells you no then ask him to do it for you. My husband would rather pay than to do it himself. Shows how much he cares.... but I think a lot of men are like that.
Reply:You can go to one of those little nail shops. I think a pedicure may cost about $20, depending on where you live. If that%26#039;s even out of the question maybe a friend could do it for you? I%26#039;d imagine at 38 weeks you would have difficulty doing it yourself.
Reply:Just tell him you deserve to be pampered before you give birth to your child! Or just tell him that if he doesnt vvant to pay for it then HE can give you one himself! lol
Reply:Make your husband give you the pedicure! Or call your best friend over, I bet she%26#039;d help you out. :)
Reply:let him know mother%26#039;s day is coming up and you would like a pedicure as your gift :-)

adn then treat them to something

Reply:Just tell him you deserve to be pampered before you give birth to your child! Or just tell him that if he doesnt vvant to pay for it then HE can give you one himself! lol
Reply:Make your husband give you the pedicure! Or call your best friend over, I bet she%26#039;d help you out. :)
Reply:let him know mother%26#039;s day is coming up and you would like a pedicure as your gift :-)
Reply:ask a friend to give you one.
Reply:ask someone to do it for a favor.
adn then treat them to something
like lunch or something
Reply:Oh wow!
Ask him to give you your pedi..maybe then he will up the cash!
Reply:Sad.

That US General only this time in London - Rate 1 to 10?
AN AMERICAN soldier in London decides to skip his tour group and
explore the city on his own. He wanders around, seeing the sights, and
occasionally stopping at a quaint pub to soak up the local culture,
chat with the lads, and have a pint of Guinness.
After a while, he finds himself in a very high-class area...big,
stately residences... no pubs, no shops, no restaurants, and worst of
all... NO PUBLIC TOILETS. He really, really has to go, after all those
pints of Guinness. He finds a narrow side street, with high walls
surrounding the adjacent buildings and decides to use the wall to
solve his problem.
As he is unzipping, he is tapped on the shoulder by a London Bobbie,
who says, %26quot;I say, sir, you simply cannot do that here, you know.%26quot;
%26quot;I%26#039;m very sorry, officer,%26quot; replies the American, %26quot;but I really, really
HAVE TO GO, and I just can%26#039;t find a public toilet.%26quot;
%26quot;Ah, yes,%26quot; said the Bobbie, %26quot;Just follow me%26quot;. He leads him to a back
%26quot;delivery alley%26quot;, then along a wall to a gate, which he opens.
%26quot;In there,%26quot; points the Bobbie. %26quot;Whiz away SIR, anywhere you want.%26quot;
The fellow enters and finds himself in the most beautiful garden he
has ever seen. Manicured grass lawns, statuary, fountains, sculptured
hedges, and huge beds of gorgeous flowers, all in perfect bloom. Since
he has the cop%26#039;s blessing, he unburdens himself and is greatly
relieved. As he goes back through the gate, he says to the Bobbie
%26quot;That was really decent of you... is that what you call %26quot;British
Hospitality?%26quot;
%26quot;No sir%26quot;, replied the Bobbie, %26quot;that is what we call the French Embassy.%26quot;

How should I interpret his behavior?!?!?
My BF and I have been together for 2 yrs he has always been good to me but lately we been arguing A LOT! So I sent him flowers today and signed them ur secret admirer. I spoke to him 3 times and even confirmed from the delivery person HE HAS RECEIVED THEM! But he has not mentioned them to me. Should I be concerned?
How should I interpret his behavior?!?!?
No, you shouldn%26#039;t. He clearly thinks they%26#039;re from A SECRET ADMIRER, not his g/f playing games. He probably feels weird about telling you, fearing it will cause more tension. He%26#039;s probably racking his brains (and possibly making an *** of himself) trying to find out who sent them. You should fess up, get the credit for the nice gesture, and work from there on improving things between you.
Reply:TJ is right-besides, if he doesn%26#039;t even mention it to you,....well...you%26#039;d better go talk to him...;) Report It
Reply:Maybe he%26#039;s embarrassed by your generosity. I agree...you definitely need to talk to him. Report It
Reply:i agree Report It
Reply:His behavior does seem very strange. A normal person would thank you and/or acknowledge the flowers. His lack of acknowledgment could mean many things, but above all it means he%26#039;s weird and immature. If I were you, I would be on my guard (if you insist on staying in the relationship). Report It
Reply:Trick him up, tell him you were thinking about sending him flowers but you changed you mind so that way he cant say he forgot Report It
Reply:BE AFRAID BE VERY AFRAID
Reply:Sometimes we as females read more into things then they really are. I would suggest just wait. When you point a finger at someone else you are pointing three back at you. Listen, realize what you are really arguing about. The root of the problem. Are you arguing with him because you feel neglected? or are you arguing to avoid something that you already know. Why sign secret admirer? He may think that he really has a secret admirer, that it is not you and to not start another argument with you, he doesn%26#039;t say anything.
Reply:I think that maybe, it was misinterpreted on his part. Maybe he thought the flowers were from someone else, and didn%26#039;t mention it because he doesn%26#039;t want things to get worse. It makes sense, if he wants to stay together, not to scare you by saying you might have competition.
Reply:You%26#039;re testing his faithfulness in a sneaky way. If he hasn%26#039;t brought it up to you then well I guess maybe he is considering the possibility of getting with someone else but it sounds like you aren%26#039;t being honest with him either which may be why your relationship is in trouble in the first place.

What would you like on vacation?
I live in a vacation area. I want to start a business selling the services of other small business in the area. If you were on vacation staying in a beautiful cabin, what services would you want or need? Here%26#039;s what I%26#039;ve come up with so far.. sending a massage therapist for an in cabin massage, delivering flowers or gift baskets, delivering restaurant or home cooked meals, someone to carry in your suitcases, pickup %26amp; delivery of groceries. Can you think of anything else that you would like if you wanted your vacation to be a comfortable %26amp; memorable one? There must be other LEGAL services offered in other areas that I haven%26#039;t thought of. I guess this would be considered concierge or guest services? I hope to work from home %26amp; support my kids with this idea. It means alot to me. Right now I am a single mom working part time %26amp; drawing partial assistance. I want to provide a good life for my kids without being away from them all the time. Thank you so much!
What would you like on vacation?

International Air Cargo ?
Air Cargo has become a huge global industry with airlines like Japan Air Lines and Northwest along with the air freight companies operating regular service around the world.
What large jet freighter is used most?
Other than parcel delivery, what cargo is the most commonly carried and why? I%26#039;m thinking cut flowers and food but I%26#039;m drawing a blank as to what else.
International Air Cargo ?
The 747 cargo airplanes see TONS of action in the air freight business... every airline with a cargo department seems to fly the 747... and one of the largest air cargo compaines in the world, UPS, flies the 747...
The Cargo carried can be anything from mail, to flowers, to toys... the list goes on and on... if the reciever needs it quick, it can be shipped via an airplane...

8 great Vday gesturz...Does spend'g alot money on ur special som1 4Val’s Day prove ur lov? Well,it cant hurt!
**Gifts for her that make you look deep, not cheap**
-Fellas, all you have to remember is that girls like gifts that you put a lot of thought into. Here, ways to show her that you went to a lot of trouble (without depleting your savings).
-Make her hunt for it: Girls love scavenger hunts. Don’t ask why; just get a few inexpensive items, hide them all over your house and come up with some clever clues. “The final clue led my girlfriend to a teddy bear on the bed,” says Matt Nelson. “She started squealing. I don’t think that would have happened if I had just handed her the teddy bear.”
-Don’t forget flowers: OK, flowers have shorter life spans than insects. But because she knows that you know they’re silly, it means even more when you give them to her. Get it? But since you’re on a budget, don’t bother with delivery. Take them to her yourself—preferably at her office where everyone can see. It’s more personal and you just saved yourself about £10.

if your love is communicated effectively to your lover ,it is a good valentine gift. the cost of the gift is not important. even a simple rose flower is enough.
Reply:Spending a lot of money on a present does not show someone that you love them. The thoughtfulness of the gift is what shows your feelings.
Reply:haha they r gud... so true!!
bumma its too late although i got my boyfriend a giant pink gorilla as a joke. infront of all his friends.. but he lyks it.. kinda haha xox

What to say/do when a friend loses her full-term baby?
I just found out that a friend lost her full-term baby during delivery last night. I want to convey my sadness for her and her husband, but I don%26#039;t know if it is appropriate to call or send flowers. If I talk to her, what should I say? I can%26#039;t begin to imagine the pain of carrying a child for nine months only to lose it in the delivery room...
What to say/do when a friend loses her full-term baby?
Thats terrible for her....something like that would crush you! I couldnt imagine that. Definately dont call because thats not personal enough. You could buy her a plant or a rose instead so she can plant it somewhere and feel close to the baby she lost. Sometimes u dont need to say much but by making yourself available and simply hugging and letting her know u care and are there if she needs you will mean alot. And dont forget about her in a month, she will need your shoulder for alot longer. Even maker her meals little things mean alot.
Just want to add that i had an ectopic pregnancy and i have a teddy bear (given when i found out i was preg) and also a small vase with flowers now dried that remind me of the baby.
Reply:i have a friend that lost her full term baby boy, it was very difficult to comfort her i let her know i was there for her but i also gave her space she came to me when she was ready.
Reply:only thing you can say, is that you are there for her and her husband...just be there. that is all she needs....Turthfully nothing you or anyone will say will be comforting to her...not for a long long time....if she rejects your at first, dont take it personal....just say I dont want to bother you....but I am here for you. and whatever you need I will be here to give.
Good luck...so sorry to hear about your friends loss, this will be a hard thing for all of you.
Reply:you need to go see her, hug her be there for her, cry with her, support her, there are no right words to say it will never be enough, listen to what she has to say and go from there i could never imagine dealing with this it is heart breaking, whatever you do do not say well you%26#039;ll have another someday, thatis probably the last thing she wants to hear.....
Reply:You don%26#039;t say if you live near-by. Please don%26#039;t send anything, they don%26#039;t need to deal with stuff, right now. If you call, ask him--not her--if you can come over, and if you can, just sit quietly with her and let her cry on you. Don%26#039;t talk unless she initiates any remarks, and keep your replys brief and loving.
Bring food, anything is fine, but hot-dishes are best. Use plates or bowls you don%26#039;t require returned. And if you%26#039;re a good friend, continue to bring food as well as any supplies she may need.
Let her husband do what he needs to do to support them.
And continue not to offer advice. Just be there, let her cry on you. This is a quick answer, I%26#039;m sure there are other ideas, too.
Reply:Don%26#039;t call I am sure she isn%26#039;t up to talking. She must be devastated, poor thing. Maybe you can bring her dinner or send her a card and flwoer letting her know you are there for her.
Reply:Nothing U can do or say my momma%26#039;s friend lost her baby in an early birth I think it was a month early she greived and greived but now she wound up pregnant after only a year they told her to wait a few years or untill she thought she was ready to try again and she was on birth control and used condoms but now she is pregnant again all U can do is be there for her (I%26#039;d pray for her too but I don%26#039;t know if u or her or religious so ya........) Reply:Don%26#039;t need to say anything, nothing will sound right. Just be there for her, let her do the talking when she is ready. I%26#039;m sorry...
Reply:If possible, go see her. Give them both a hug. Tell them you%26#039;re so very sorry for their lose. Let them know you are there for them if they ever need you. When she get out of the hospital, bring over some food. Offer to run errands for her, etc. I think you get the idea. She will be in no condition to do much. Once you ascess the situtation, then you%26#039;ll know when to step back or help. Remember, they need time to grieve.

In Love with a strict and serious girl... problem? Help me please?
Well about 6 months ago we came from another country back to the uk.my mums british.
And we had to go to the birmingham city council neighbourhood office.to arrange temporary accomodation because my mum left my dad and had no money when we came to uk.
And my mum left my dad because he was drinking and gambling all money and took me out school when i was in 8th class and kept me and forced me to stay at home for almost 6 yrs.and because of that my mum took the embassys help to leave the country my dad was forcing me and my mum to live in.
so i was 20 yr old and went to the neighbourhood office with my mum and there i by chance saw this nice girl coming to work she was walking from the bus stop to go inside the office and we were early waiting for the place to open.so i saw her and i fell in love with her at first sight.and in the end the same girl helped us alot even thow all of the others refused to help.2 days i went n she was sat at a desk ant back with my mum n i was just in the waiting area but the whole time when she was going past to go to the copier machine she would look at me.that was every 10 minutes 2 full days 9 til 5.she would touch her hair and move it back while lookin at me and would look away and pretend not to look when i look towards her.i was already in love with her and fell deeply in love with her.
I tried to go and see her a few days after when i missed her.but you cant just walk in and see who you like and they have random appointments meaning its just your luck depending whose free.i tried a few times but couldnt meet her to talk to her and tell her how i feel.i kept trying to think new ideas.kept tryna see her but couldnt now almost 2 months had passed.i found out a good plan.the office e mail address.i sent an e mail sayin: thank you.your really a great person i would like to be like you someday.if theres anyway at all i can make it upto you then please let me know.
I really want to be your friend.
But because it was for the full office even thow her name was at top the manager read it and sent me a threat to take legal action if i e mail again.its for housing advice only he said.
I was really hurt and disappointed that i failed to contact her.
Few weeks later i was working as a volunteer at a law firm.and doing my gcse course to tryn complete my education.because my boss was already sort of a family friend.he saw me tensed and asked me whats wrong.i told him.
He told me he knew her mum 20 yrs ago she had worked for him.he found me her daughters e mail address and i e mailed her again.but this time the service delivery manager read it first.coz he sorts all e mail out he sent me the same threat that its inappropriate, unless its about housing.even thow i had only said thank you.
So i didnt give up i tried again.but this time i clearly told who i was what etc and i told how things were goin and i even posted her a nice thankyou card.and then the managers visited my house and told me in person that stop sending e mails this person doesnt want to know you she is freaking out and is worried and even stayed of work 1 day coz a that.
I appologised to them and told them to convey my deepest appologies to her.
I was hoping may be later shel tryn contact me but she didnt.
4 months had passed now while doing all the things told above, then next
My boss who knew her mum pretty well but along time ago.even he tried to e mail her.but he told her the truth that i love her and everything from his own e mail address but this time because the e mail had my name in it too it was forwarded to the headquaters of birmingham city council.and the boss of council threatened to stop all funding of his law firm.so to save is own *** my boss dismissed me from a volunteer he said he had no choice.i wasnt angry at her or him.
Now its nearly 6 months since i saw her but im still seriously in love with her.i cant sleep at nights,im thinking of her all day and night.im not the same person anymore.i cant live without her.i want to be with her and spend life with her.just being around her makes me happy like i dont need anything else.
I just dont have anymore ideas.and no ways to contact her because city council will get police in it next time.
Shes a very serious and strict girl.her work is everything to her.
I thought she would really appreciate my thank you card and my e mails.
but either everyone else like delivery manager, manager is taking legal action and she doesnt know even or she doesnt care.
I really sent her that card to show that she helped us alot.
Valentines day was a few weeks away i thought if she contacts me and gets friends after sending the card then i would send her a valentinesday card.i was even hoping to fill her office desk up with flowers and send her a cute teddy, chocolates,a gift and a card all on valentines day.but because she didnt contact me or anything and with all warnings i was afraid to do so.
I really love this girl and i love her so much i only want her to be my girlfriend and only want to marry her.if i cant marry her then il never marry or love anyone ever.
Shes the 1. But i just cant find the right ways to get to her,get my hearts message to her,and i cant find a way to melt her heart.
She did like me at the time she saw me she kept looking at me alot.and was a bit worried while lookin at me when we were leaving.i know she had some feelings.i wish i could get to know her.im sure she likes me and if i find a good way to get to know her then shel really understand and love me.
In Love with a strict and serious girl... problem? Help me please?
Didn%26#039;t even come close to reading the whole thing, but man if the police have been involved then you don%26#039;t have a crush, she is not the %26quot;one%26quot; you have an irrational an obsessive need for her and you need to get help. This is not normal behavior you are talking about, this isn%26#039;t about softening her up, this isn%26#039;t about her being %26quot;strict%26quot;. She has no interest in you and you are stalking her.

100% Satisfaction guarantee? Not really...?
I recently ordered balloons %26amp; a box of chocolate for my husband for our anniversary. When he called to thank me, I was surprised to discover they had sent a little bag of candy instead of the box of chocolate. Their website advertizes a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so I took the issue up with them. The only reason I went with this particular company rather than 1800 Flowers (which I normally use) is because of this balloon/chocolate deal. Also, their Substitution disclaimer only talks about flowers and vases, does not mencion chocolates. The reply I got from CS was that they could only refund me the delivery fee.
Should I accept their offer? Personally, I think this sucks...
100% Satisfaction guarantee? Not really...?
No I do not think you should accept this offer You paid for the Balloon %26amp; Chocolate deal so they are wrong to send you a small bag of candy instead. Suppose your husband does not like candy but prefers chocolates--what now?!! Let the company be held responsible!!!!!!!! The customer is always right therefore you should make it public what the company did and what they%26#039;re refunding (which I%26#039;m sure is not even half of the total cost of the Balloon /Chocolate deal)--just the delivery fee They have to be joking!!!!!!!!.
Reply:i think you should just take whatever they are willing to give you for it, and then never do work with them again. Give them a bad review in yahoo business, or whatever it is, and maybe send a letter to your local paper if it is a local company.
Reply:Such is life, and it keeps gettin sucher. They probably ran out of the one thing so they substituted it. Did your husband still get the balloon. Those are cool cause everyone at the office thinks; wow I wish I had a wife like that. I digress if he was happy with the gift you should just take the offer and not do bussiness with them any more....

Florists won't deliever on Sundays?
Why is it so difficult to find a florist that does Mother%26#039;s Day delivery?
My mom is a nurse and works on Sundays - I%26#039;d like to have her some flowers sent but nooooooo.... %26quot;We don%26#039;t deliver on Sundays!,%26quot; is all I keep getting. I even tried 1-800-Flowers and they said their local shops in that area wouldn%26#039;t deliver on Sundays.
Good grief.. I%26#039;m so frustrated. Any ideas?
Florists won%26#039;t deliever on Sundays?
Is there a floral shop in the hospital she works at. They are probably open on Sunday and since they are in the same building, would probably bring them to her.
Reply:My daughters both work for florists, and they have been busy since yesterday at dawn doing the mother%26#039;s day deliveries. If it%26#039;s important to you that it%26#039;s delivered to her on Sunday, could you maybe find a friend or someone you know in the area to drop it off at the hospital?
If you call 1-800 flowers, they are just going to call a local florist, a lot of people don%26#039;t understand that. My daughters were delivering valentine bouquets for 2 or 3 days after Feb 14 which were orders from 1-800 Flowers. I%26#039;m sure it will be the same for mothers day.

ok man Im the expert on this. do NOT send her a delivery. girls hate it and it makes you seem like a coward. You have to ignore being nervous cuz girls love it when guys are confident enough to walk right up to them and do whatever it is they want to do.
Now as for the present. Dont just get her chocolates and flowers because eventually they will be gone and she will forget she ever had them. If you have the money you could get her some jewellery or better yet just get her a big *** teddy! and I said you shouldnt JUST get her flowers and chocolate. You should get them + teddy or jewellery etc.
Me myself I got my girl a huge teddybear, flowers, a card and two tickets to a performance at our towns theatre by Daft Punk. Just get her something she will keep in her room for a long time and she%26#039;ll remember you. GOOD LUCK
Reply:Well if someone lik%26#039;d me thn i would love mayb a rose [yes you can only give a girl one] and a box of chocolates, mayb get her a card and write in it how you feel. If you do decide to do flowers then do some really pretty ones. Bright colors mayb? Or you can just ask her out for dinner. =] thats always sweet.
hope this may help.
Reply:The ones ppl are saying r the basics. What I think would be best would be to give her something personalized. By personalized i dont mean engraved or something. What I got my gf on our first valentines day was a teddy bear with concert tickets for her favorite band in the pocket of the bears clothes. It%26#039;s way to much if your not dating and in love or wtv. But find out wut she likes, im sure u can think of something. Depending on how well u kno her or if u wanna date her, try putting a like gift certificate to a restaurant in the pocket of the bear or something. It%26#039;s like inviting her on a date while givin her a gift at the same time. Think of what she likes. It%26#039;s romantic just being a gift it doesn%26#039;t need to be a romantic gift.
I don%26#039;t mean to sound like a jerk, but dude if you like her you%26#039;re going to have to talk 2 her eventually give her the gift personally u dont need to say anything special or over worry. Who doesn%26#039;t like gifts? What%26#039;s the worst that can happen?? you%26#039;ll get a thank you?. Just relax and have fun
Reply:If you go to the same school or something, leave her a rose somewhere she will definetely get it. Be nearby, and when she looks around to see who it was, give a smile and walk away. It will make her oh so happy!
Reply:chocolates =] i would luv it
Reply:Send a huge teddy bear to her house, with a valentines card.
Reply:Do the old fashioned stuff, buy chocolates, I know you don%26#039;t really wanna give flowers but ya should. You can also (I know you brought this up too) buy her a teddy bear.I don%26#039;t think anyone would care (except her) if you got her a teddy bear.Or get her those sweethearts candy things that only come around near valentines.
A way you can do it without etting nervous? I have the same problems too but I just deal with it but if you read this you would think %26quot;But I can%26#039;t deal with this!%26quot; so heres what you can do.
1.Give it to her but try and think about something else (maybe not the best)
2.Try and give it to one of her friends to give it to her(but then she might think that your not couragous enough to give it to her)
3.You can just give it to her and just go %26quot;Happy Valentines Day!%26quot; and talk but for like a minute and then there you got it over with!
Good luck

I wonder if there is a chance for my wife%26#039;s flower to go back to the original. I feel I%26#039;m lost in a hole. It%26#039;s different that before we had a child. Is there any technique that you know? I have not come across like this in my readings. Can you let me know?

Girls like classic mushy stuff, like flowers and teddy bears and chocolates. Make sure something you get her is personal though, like a homemade valentine, or cupcakes you baked yourself. We like to know you care enough to do something like that. But we also like to feel pampered by a classic box of chocolates with a huge bow. Jewelry is also amazing. If you just like her and aren%26#039;t really dating or anything, then I wouldn%26#039;t take her out to a romantic candlelit dinner or anything. If you guys are kinda friends, you could take her somewhere nice for fun. It kinda depends on your age, and what she likes. Surprise her! Don%26#039;t be nervous, the big part is over, you already told her how you feel. Now you just have to show her! Valentine%26#039;s Day is the perfect time to do it! Just go for it!
Reply:well since you dont love her you shouldnt do something that big and the most romantic thing is to give it to a girl in person i know i would wanna have him in front of me when i received the gift...u should give her a rose every day starting on feb.1st until Valentines and on Valentines give her a bouquet of red roses and take her out to eat or to a nice picnic in the park just the two of you.
Reply:Do you know what sports she likes or movies she likes? You could get 2 tickets to something and then ask her to go with you if she wouldn%26#039;t mind being your valentine. It%26#039;s cute and it will impress her! Good Luck!!
Reply:chocolates and a teddy bear.
it never fails.
if you really want to go all out, give her a rose.
Reply:give her choclates and a card
Reply:the best thing to start out with is a romantic dinner , baloons, chocolate and flowers than start to work your way up to more expensive things like rings, bracelets and neklaces.

ps. i don%26#039;t %26quot;love%26quot; her, only like her.
What should i get the girl i like for valentines day? 10 pts to best answer.?
Girls like classic mushy stuff, like flowers and teddy bears and chocolates. Make sure something you get her is personal though, like a homemade valentine, or cupcakes you baked yourself. We like to know you care enough to do something like that. But we also like to feel pampered by a classic box of chocolates with a huge bow. Jewelry is also amazing. The floral arrangement I paid to be delivered to my mom, 2000 miles from me, were not sent, what to do????
I went to a local florist in a small town in California to send a mothers day floral arrangement to my mom, who lives in a small town in Ohio. Even though I ordered and paid in cash on Monday they scheduled delivery for the following Saturday, after promising delivery between 8 a.m. and noon at noon they informed me that it might take till six since its a holiday delivery. At around 4 they advised me they would be delivering until 8 pm. My mom is in her 70%26#039;s and perfers being asleep by 7. I%26#039;m so frustrated at this pont my mom has no flowers and the shop in Ohio does not deliver on Motheres Day. Any suggestions??? Oh, by the way this cost about sevanty dollars to expirence. Ideas?????

If they guaranteed delivery, you may have some recourse for a refund...however...in the future , you may find it more benficial , not be mention cheaper to call a florist in Ohio yourself. Do a little research on the web and find one near mom and call them direct, most florists have toll free numbers, then you can find out what they have in stock and if and when they can deliver it:)
Reply:i would sue .. or ask for money back .. BE FORCEFUL!!
Reply:GET A REFUND FROM TH EFLORAL WHERE YOU HAD THE FLOWERS SENT IS THE BEST IDEA I HAVE,SORRY I AM OF NO BETTER HELP
Reply:call them back on Tuesday get your money back and make them send her 2 sets for free . just for the mess they maid. they will do it. ( maybe you should throw in a cry here and there) it might work.

Question for women ONLY about Valentine's Day gift-giving?
I%26#039;d like to know if it is acceptable to send a bouquet of red roses to a woman for Valentine%26#039;s Day if the woman is just a friend who I visit and chat with from time to time but someone who I%26#039;m not dating or involved with. I asked her out on a date twice over the last few months and the first time she said she couldn%26#039;t but the second time I gave her my number and she said she would call me sometime but never did.
When I do visit her to say %26quot;hi%26quot;, she is usually friendly and polite towards me so she seems to see me as a friend.
My intention in giving her the roses is only to let her know that I%26#039;m still interested in her despite her not calling me.
Should I send her the flowers or not? And if so, should I have them sent by a delivery person or should I deliver them in person to her???
Question for women ONLY about Valentine%26#039;s Day gift-giving?
You%26#039;re limiting yourself we guys have some nice suggestions like this one:
Get him/her a gift certificate to Bath Junkie. That place allows you to make your own %26quot;customized%26quot; scent either in lotion, oil or soap fashion.
curosity note - be sure to check out the Dirt Scent, seriously it smells like dirt.
peace out
have a happy valetine%26#039;s day.
Reply:It might be depending on the kind a nice white rose or something other than a rose def not a yellow or red rose...in person may be better so you can explain your self!
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t send her red if you consider her %26#039;just a friend%26#039; but it sounds like you want more than that.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t send a dozen, I would get 3 so you aren%26#039;t to over bearing.
Reply:You would not be wrong to send them - but you might be disappointed in her reaction.
Send them with no expectations. Can you do that?
I would have them delivered. If you show up - it%26#039;s as if you%26#039;re expecting something. Also - if you show up in person - there is a chance that she will not accept them from you.
If she likes you as a friend - and you are interested in more - it%26#039;s already an uncomfortable situation for her. All she really can do is tell you that she is flattered and sorry that she doesn%26#039;t feel the same way. If you%26#039;re hoping you%26#039;ll grow on her - through acts of kindness - and you don%26#039;t mind spending money KNOWING that you very likely will not get a positive response - then go for it.
Reply:I think it would be okay, but maybe not roses. Roses send a strong message. Maybe something more %26quot;friendly%26quot;. Like a bouquet of mixed flowers. And a simple happy valentines day note. Coming on too strong may push her away. You want to keep the friendship going.
Reply:roses are for love, give her carnations or something instead
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t send a whole bouquet, I would take one pink rose to her. Then maybe ask her out for coffee or lunch. Then it%26#039;s more friendly than date-ish, that way in conversation you could mention that you are still interested and that you would like to take her out on a date sometime. Just be careful she may end up distancing herself from you if she doesn%26#039;t want to date you. Sounds like she might be politely trying to brush you off as far as dating goes.
Reply:No...I think that is a bad idea. She obviously just wants to be friends and isn%26#039;t into dating you. So what kind of visits do you have? Do you stalk her at work, or do you guys actually hang out as friends? Either way, roses are not the way to go. She already knows that you like her since you asked her out twice before. Smothering her with gifts will just boost her ego, or creep her out. If you are actually friends for real, than just get her something small that is funny and sweet...and not something that says I love you either.
Reply:Is she currently in a relationship? You don%26#039;t want to cause her any problems. I would have them delivered %26amp; DON%26#039;T send red because that means love. Send yellow as a symbol of friendship.
Reply:The thing that i would do is give her the roses in person. That shows her that you do care for her, and if she sees that you like her %26quot;more than a friend%26quot; she will probably like you too. Good Luck!!
Reply:send them to her and have them delivered. She will know you are still interested and it%26#039;s exciting to get roses delivered to you. Have a nice little note attached to them. Then she will have to call you to say thank you.
Reply:I D0N%26#039;T KN0W
I DIDN%26#039;T READ WAT Y0U WR0TE..
Reply:Don%26#039;t send a full bouquet - from what you have stated she is being polite, but not out to jump on that request for a date.
What I would do is get her a few (3) Yellow roses (for friendship) and tie them together with a ribbon - but here%26#039;s the trick - attach a note in the ribbon as well (holepunch) just a small note no bigger than 2X2. On the note write something along the lines of %26quot;Just want to get to know you more as a friend. Hope you have a fabulous day. Going out for a drink @ ____ 7pm, would love for you to join.%26quot; then sign your name and #. Deliver it to her, just before she is to get off of work. Make light conversation, %26quot;saw these and thought of you, so I brought them by.%26quot; Don%26#039;t mention what%26#039;s in the card unless she brings it up and leave.
The whole idea is to be intreaging (sp) without being overbearing - which the dozen red would do, especially if your not dating.
Whatever your results, Good Luck and have a FABULOUS V-Day!
Reply:Go send her flowers and do it in person so u can see her reactions..
-If your relationship is strictly friendly, stick with pale-colored roses, as in general, they signify friendship.
-Pale pink and peach colors signify admiration, sweetness, and gratitude, which make these roses the perfect choices for floral gifts of friendship.
-White roses symbolize innocent love. They say “I’m worthy of you,” and are just simply beautiful.
-Light and dark pink roses symbolize joy and thankfulness, and would make a beautiful way to say how happy you are to have that special someone in your life.
-A dozen Red roses is considered to be the ultimate declaration of love.
Best of Luck!
Reply:roses are one way to say %26quot;i love you more then a friend%26quot; and i think you should send the roses with a mail carrier but not a hot one then she%26#039;ll think those are from him but don%26#039;t make it a really nerdy one either
